Comprehensive Privacy Notice

1. Identity and Address of the Data Controller

Kantik Real Estate is the trade name under which Simone Adornetto, an individual engaged in business activity, operates as the party responsible for processing your personal data (hereinafter, "Kantik," "we," or the "Data Controller").

Kantik is a real estate agency dedicated to the marketing and sale of mid-to-upscale properties in Yucatán (Mérida and its coastal area) and in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

2. Personal Data We Collect

For the purposes described in this notice, Kantik may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

• Identification data: full name.
• Contact data: phone number, email address, city or general location.
• Interaction and preference data: properties or projects of interest, approximate budget you share with us, the channel through which you contacted us, communication history, and real estate preferences you share with us.

We do not collect sensitive personal data. Kantik does not request or process data relating to racial or ethnic origin, health status, religious beliefs, political opinions, sexual orientation, or similar data. We also do not request financial or asset data at this contact and prospecting stage; if a transaction moves toward the formalization of a purchase, such data will be collected through a specific privacy notice and the corresponding consent.

3. Purposes of Processing

3.1 Primary Purposes

These purposes are necessary to respond to your request and provide the service:

1. Contacting you and responding to your request for information.
2. Providing you with real estate advisory services on Kantik's properties and projects.
3. Scheduling and coordinating appointments, visits, and property tours.
4. Following up on your interest as a prospect throughout the sales process, through to its eventual closing.
5. Managing the business relationship, including preparing quotes and documentation prior to a transaction.

3.2 Secondary Purposes

The following purposes are not necessary for our relationship with you, but allow us to offer you a better service:

1. Sending promotions, news, and opportunities about real estate properties and projects.
2. Marketing, advertising, and commercial prospecting activities.
3. Remarketing and audience segmentation on digital platforms (see Section 6).
4. Invitations to events, launches, and customer relationship communications.

Opting out of secondary purposes. If you do not want your data processed for these purposes, you may say so at any time by emailing kantik@kantikrealestate.com with the subject line "No secondary purposes," including your name and the contact information you registered. Opting out will not be grounds for denying you the requested services. You can also unsubscribe from promotional communications using the cancellation link included in each message or by replying "UNSUBSCRIBE" to our messages.

4. Transfers of Personal Data

Kantik does not sell, assign, or trade your personal data to third parties.

To operate, Kantik relies on technology service providers that process personal data on behalf of and under the instructions of Kantik (data processors), so their involvement does not constitute a transfer under the law:

Transfers requiring your consent. If a real estate transaction moves toward formalization, Kantik may transfer your data to third parties necessary for closing (the developer or property owner, notary offices, financial institutions, or legal and tax advisors). Except for the cases provided under Article 22 of the LFPDPPP that do not require consent, these transfers will only be made with your authorization.

If you do NOT consent to a transfer that requires your authorization, you may say so by emailing kantik@kantikrealestate.com.

5. Means to Exercise Your ARCO Rights and Revoke Your Consent

As the data subject, you have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it when inaccurate or incomplete, Cancel it when you believe it is no longer necessary for the stated purposes, and Object to its processing for specific purposes (ARCO rights). You may also revoke, at any time, any consent you have given us.

How to exercise them? Send your request to kantik@kantikrealestate.com. Your request must include at least:

1. Your full name and a way to communicate the response to you.
2. Documents proving your identity (or, where applicable, legal representation of the data subject).
3. A clear and precise description of the personal data for which you are seeking to exercise the right.
4. Any element that helps locate your data.

Kantik will respond to your request within a maximum of 20 business days from its receipt, and, if applicable, will carry it out within the following 15 business days after the response. These deadlines may be extended once, for an equal period, when circumstances justify it. Exercising these rights is free of charge; you will only need to cover, where applicable, justified shipping or copy-reproduction costs.

Revoking your consent or exercising the right to cancellation or objection may mean that Kantik is unable to continue providing you the service or staying in contact with you, which will be communicated to you at the time.

6. Use of Cookies, Web Beacons, and Tracking Pixels

The site kantikrealestate.com uses cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies, including the Meta pixel (Facebook / Instagram), for the following purposes:

• Measuring site performance and our advertising campaigns.
• Remembering your browsing preferences.
• Showing you relevant Kantik advertising on third-party platforms (remarketing) and building audiences for campaigns.

These technologies may collect data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time spent, and browsing behavior. You can disable or delete cookies from your browser settings; some site features may stop working correctly. To control personalized Meta advertising, you can adjust your preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

7. Changes to This Privacy Notice

Kantik may modify or update this notice at any time to address legislative or internal changes, or changes in our processing practices. Any modification will be communicated to you by publishing the updated version on this page, indicating the date of the last update at the top of the document. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. When a change involves processing your data for purposes other than those consented to, we will obtain your consent again in accordance with the law.

8. Consent

By providing your personal data to Kantik — whether through Meta's (Facebook / Instagram) lead capture forms, this website's contact form, WhatsApp, a phone call, or any other means — and by not expressing opposition, you declare that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and grant your consent for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the purposes described here, including the secondary purposes and transfers requiring your authorization, unless you state otherwise through the means indicated in this notice.

9. International Visitors

Kantik Real Estate operates from Mexico. Your personal data is collected and processed in Mexico and is governed by Mexican law (LFPDPPP), as described in this Notice. Regardless of where you are located, you may access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing kantik@kantikrealestate.com. We will respond to every request we receive.

This privacy notice is issued in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) (Official Gazette, published March 20, 2025) and other applicable provisions.
